Delivery Policy

Delivery charges apply for bulk orders, large outdoor plants, lights, and furniture, we ask that you see a member of the team in The Berkshire Gardener for details based on your product request.

Delivery lead times are based on the individual products and available lead times. Products purchased within the garden centre are 7-14 working days. For ordered items please speak to a member of the team for up-to-date lead times on Furniture and Lighting, as these change due to supply.

All items must be paid for prior to delivery. You will be notified once a delivery date has been confirmed, delivery will be deemed successful once delivered to the required address provided by you.

You will be asked to sign acceptance of delivery; no goods will be left should no one be available at the property, or in the event the delivery is refused on the confirmed delivery day (re delivery charges and new booking date will apply).

We ask that you check over your goods upon delivery, in the unlikely event of any faults or shortages, these must be notified to The Berkshire Gardener or to Head Office on 01242 387995 within 24 hours of delivery.

Please check all dimensions and accessibility prior to ordering items for delivery, and that the items are the right size for your needs. Where items are delivered and then unwanted, the Company reserves the right to apply a collection charge.

The Berkshire Gardener will not accept any liability for late delivery where this is caused by circumstances beyond the companies control.
